Dear RC Tankers All over the world!
Our hobby is the youngest one in the family of RC Modeling and especially in family of RC Sports, if we talk about RC Tanks' Battling as Teams' Competition.
But every month from year to year RC Tank Modeling gets new allies, enlarges and enriches its quantity of supporters in different countries.
It is not a secret that different countries across the globe organize local events - tank meets, exhibitions, workshops, Tank Ruffles etc., where we can see the significant growth of RC tank model-skills development and development of the industry itself.
We have been thinking of uniting in some International Organization that will bear the responsibility of organizing some events from time to time, set up standards for all rc-Tank Clubs and individuals that will decide to join its events and speaking to the producers regarding our requirements.
Several Clubs and Organizations from different Countries have initiated the new International Radio Control Tanks' Organization - IRCTO - for our hobby further development .
IRCTO will have several concepts for the hobby further development.
1. Concept of one international standard set up for all the participants regarding competition participation.
2. Concept of our meets and competitions - it will be a several-days event somewhere in the World and there will be several events at the meet too. There will be driving and IR-shooting competitions on a closed course and there will be battle teams competitions (with teams of 4 tanks).
So finally we - all together - will (we hope) develop the new RC Tanks' Sport for our joint fun and pleasure.
